General Manager – M Group Tonga
Hayden Braddock is the General Manager of M Group Tonga and leads the Clean Water for Tonga programme. With extensive experience across renewable energy, infrastructure delivery, and donor-funded community projects, Hayden oversees programme strategy, partnerships, and on-the-ground execution. Based between Tonga and New Zealand, he works closely with government, community leaders, technical specialists, and international donors to ensure projects are delivered transparently, sustainably, and with long-term impact for Tongan communities.
Alastair Hodgkinson
Project Leader & Head Contractor
Alastair Hodgkinson leads project delivery for Clean Water for Tonga, overseeing system design, construction, and installation across village and school sites. An experienced infrastructure and renewable energy professional, Alastair brings strong technical leadership and practical problem-solving to complex, remote environments. He coordinates engineering, solar, and electrical teams to ensure each system is built to specification, delivered efficiently, and designed to perform reliably in Tonga’s challenging conditions.
Dan Le Breton
Head of Solar Systems
Dan Le Breton leads the solar design and implementation for Clean Water for Tonga. With deep expertise in off-grid solar, battery storage, and renewable energy systems, Dan ensures each water installation is powered by robust, efficient, and resilient solar solutions. His work focuses on long-term performance, energy independence, and minimising operating costs, helping villages and schools access clean water without reliance on fuel or grid power.
Feao Teutau
Electrical & Compliance Lead
Feao Teutau is the owner of Kingdom Energy & Electric and provides local electrical leadership for Clean Water for Tonga. With extensive experience across Tonga’s electrical sector, Feao ensures all installations meet national regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements. His role is critical in bridging international engineering standards with local conditions, ensuring systems are safe, durable, and fully approved for long-term operation in communities across Tonga.
Asi Teutau
Field Operations Supervisor
Asi Teutau leads the on-site installation team for Kingdom Energy & Electric and is responsible for day-to-day field execution on Clean Water for Tonga projects. Working closely with engineering and solar specialists, Asi oversees electrical works, system commissioning, and practical problem-solving on site. His hands-on leadership ensures installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, with strong coordination between local crews and technical partners.
Dr Tevita Tukunga
Energy & Climate Advisor
Dr Tevita Tukunga is a senior energy and climate policy advisor to the Clean Water for Tonga programme. He brings decades of leadership experience across Tonga’s energy sector, including former roles as Director of the Energy Department and Director of the Tonga Electricity Power Board. Dr Tukunga provides strategic guidance on government engagement, climate finance pathways, and institutional alignment, supporting programme coordination with national ministries, regional partners, and international climate funds. His expertise is instrumental in positioning Clean Water for Tonga for long-term scale and resilience.
